Wow! Has this year passed fast? It seems almost like yesterday that I wrote this article for the first time, and now another year is upon us. I must say it has been a high privilege to be entrusted with teaching the Gospel every week to all the great people who attend my class. Thank you for enriching my life with your participation and fellowship.

If you’ve never attended our class I’d like to give you a personal invite to join us in the study of God’s Word. We take our time and assimilate the message we teach. You get to ask questions, and we find the answers in the Word of God and the wisdom of the Holy Spirit. If you ask a question that we don’t have an immediate answer for, we look for it during the week and bring it back to you. It is my desire that everyone who comes grows in their knowledge of God’s Word and also grows in their experience of God’s Word.

I want your knowledge of God’s Word to produce a faith that works by experience, not just more information without results. The written Word of God is to be to us a personal Word from God spoken to our hearts from a God who loves us beyond measure, therefore, it’s my desire to help make the Word of God as personal as possible and help each person fall completely in love with the God of the Bible. It’s through this love relationship with God that we truly grow in our Christian life and become all that God desires us to be.

As I look back over the last year or so in the things God has been speaking to me about, I see Him calling each one of us into a greater fellowship with His Word… desiring us to spend more time with Him in fellowship with the Holy Spirit. Almost as if wanting us to go into a special time of training… as if for combat… for the days ahead. We are the victors in Christ Jesus… we are His glorious Body the Church Triumphant… we are His eternally. He wants to arm us and equip us with all the power of His kingdom… and He has… to carry out His kingdom purpose in the earth so it will take a corporate effort and a personal commitment to the Word of God and obedience to His Holy Spirit to do so. So arm yourselves with the Word of God… allow the Holy Spirit to train and perfect you and always… always… walk in love toward one another.

I’m looking forward to another year of sharing God’s Word with you and you sharing it with me, and growing together and gaining momentum together in God’s glorious kingdom. If you’ve been coming to our Adult Bible Study class Wednesday nights at 7:00 p.m., I thank you! And if you’ve not attended yet, our hearts and hands are extended to you to invite you to join us and be a part of what God is doing.
