Daughters of the King – Margie Martinez
Last year our goal was to take it to the streets, and our group did that. This year is double portion! I want to see God work in our lives by letting 2 Corinthians 5:17 speak to us! A new creation in Christ. The old has passed away, and the New has come. Hebrews 10:24-25 says, Let us not neglect to meet together, encouraging one another as the Day draws near, we need to forget the former things, old things. Isaiah 43:18-19 says, Remember the New things, and my prayer is that you PERCIEVE this. Romans 8:12 says, The slate of our sins are forgiven and forever wiped clean.
This year I’d like to focus on letting go of the past, not focusing on sin and failure. Begin by thanking God for a new morning, a new dawn, a new day, a new breath, a new revelation, a new heart, and a new mind of Christ. Inviting Him as a Friend wherever you go, whatever you do. Allow God to give us a fresh clean start and thank Him for his forgiveness.
He believes the best in us. He is not through with us! Thank God for His Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name. Most of all, I want to give God the glory and honor, and live according to His will. Thank you Lord, that You call us Your daughters, Oh King! We have hope because He is the same yesterday, today, and forever. There is no one else we can put our trust in, no one! In Jesus’ arms we are safe and secure! We need to speak these promises over our families, schools, leaders, nations.
He has given us the authority to speak life, we need to pray for the sick, the lost, the people we love. Who do we love? We love our families, our church family, our friends. This is easy to do. God has called us to love the community, and all the world. We are called to stretch our faith a bit, at least! We can no longer hide the Light under the bush!
