Mens’ Ministries –Terry Ballance

The vision of Men’s Ministry is to love and support men as they progress in their walk with the Lord, and to speak the wisdom and guidance of the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives.

We had a men’s retreat in September 2014 at the Del-Norte Church. There were 65 men who came from Pagosa Springs, Del-Norte and River of Life. There was a great worship. Fellowship was rich with men reaching out to other men with support and prayer.

Our goal is to help men be better fathers, husbands and men of God, knowing a deep intimate relationship with the Lord, and to know Jesus as their personal Savior, while at the same time working together helping others come to a saving knowledge of the Lord.

We have many men pass through our church because of Corrections and other ways, and my concern is that we miss some of them. The challenge is for more men to come along side and reach out to men who are not connected to us. Men need Jesus in their everyday lives, and we can be used by the Holy Spirit to connect them. Church, pray that God give men wisdom and boldness to reach out to other men of all walks of life, even when it isn’t easy!

The return of our Savior is close! Time is short and there is much work to be done helping people to come to a saving relationship with Jesus.
