Womens’ Ministries – Vivian Ballance

The year 2014 was a time of spiritual growth for the amazing ladies of River of Life.
The heart , purpose and vision of Women’s Ministries is to see every woman grow in God and to learn to hear His still small voice when He speaks to her about her place of ministry in the body of Christ.

But it is not enough to just recognize our gifts.  We must trust Him enough to know that when He calls us He equips us. I see this happening in every ministry where women and girls are involved. Young and not so young are reaching out in love to one another.  Our greatest commandment is that we would love one another.

Thank you to Kristy Blair for the fantastic job that she does as our kitchen manager. Also to all the other ladies that step up to support this vital ministry of our church.

In October of 2014 we were blessed to host a one day retreat for the ladies of our church and the valley.  We found that women are hungry for more of God and for fellowship with other women. Six churches from the valley and one from Colorado Springs were represented at this great day of ministry. I am excited to say that we will be hosting another one in June of this year. 

My vision for River of Life Women’s Ministries is that we would continue to go outside the four walls of our church and tell others about our Savior.  We give Him all the glory that He so richly deserves.
